The Flying Start Programme for Women


The Flying Start Programme for Women was held at the Park Inn York in January 2008. The Programme brought together 62 women graduates all with the aim of setting up a business within the next 12 months.

The Flying Start Programme lasts for 12 months. Each entreprenuer is supported by an experienced business mentor and will attend a number of focused follow-up meetings.

62 women were selected from almost 1200 applicants for this twelve month programme. The aim is to get at least 66% up and running within 12 months.
